About RMnoFlock
RMnoFlock is a Rolling Meadows community group working to end the use of Flock Safety automated license plate readers (ALPRs) and other mass-location surveillance in our city. We believe surveillance cameras that collect and share vehicle location data threaten civil liberties, enable profiling and cross-jurisdictional targeting, and can be repurposed for immigration enforcement, insurance or advertising uses, and commercial data-broker sales.
What we do
- Organize residents to petition the Mayor and City Council to cancel Flock and all ALPR contracts.
- Educate the community about ALPR harms and alternatives that actually improve public safety.
- Coordinate with local organizations and legal advocates to demand transparency, data deletion, and a permanent ban on future ALPR procurement without public approval.
- Support affected residents and document instances of misuse or abuse.
Get involved
- Sign our petition and share it with neighbors.
- Attend City Council meetings and public hearings; we post alerts and talking points.
- Volunteer to help with outreach, research, or events.
